Which do you believe is the better franchise?

For years these two franchises have been compared (and even had a crossover at one point in time). Which one do you believe is the better of the two? I admittedly can't say much about Power Rangers because I haven't watched that past the third season (also saw the first movie), whereas I have watched every episode of the 1987 TMNT Cartoon, every movie, and the first couple of seasons of the 2003 cartoon.

So with that said, I definitely have some bias towards the TMNT. I've been a fan of that franchise since I can literally remember. Heck, I even have a clip from an old family video of me singing the 1987 theme song whenever I was only three years old. I think they also released better toys, too. I also like that the team for the TMNT has always remained the same, yet stayed fresh throughout all of it's incarnations. It's always been a very balanced group with each turtle bringing a different attitude/personality to the table that compliments the others.

Anyway, which franchise do you think is better?

Turtles are cooler. and the fights are better. Rangers just go "hah!" and jump and kick randomly around. and it ends the same way everytime with the giant robot

only the original power rangers series was good. (and no, i don't mean the japanese version).

tmnt has the original series and movie. the 2012 cartoon is good too

Probably TMNT because they've done more with it. Power Rangers has run longer and with more consistency, but the usage has often been shallow. Granted, that'll arguably change if they do go forward with plans for a series of films and a film continuity.

Turtles! Though The 80s Turtles got to me well before the Power Rangers did. I liked Mighty Morphin' and Zeo but I don't think I saw any of the subsequent series. I've seen most or all of the turtles 80s, and 2003, and maybe a little bit of 2012.

Turtles in Time is one of my all time favorite SNES games though, that seals the deal.

The latest Power Rangers movie was pretty boring to watch.
I think if Michael Bay was involved in this movie(like he was in Transformers and Turtles) it could've been at least slightly more exciting to watch.
This movie could've needed another explosion or two.

Even the latest TMNT movie was better Power Rangers(2017).

I've always been a fan of Turtles but still, giant robots fighting monsters/other robots is pretty cool.

Ninja Turtles are awesome in most incarnations. Power Rangers tries too damn hard, and to top it off even ripped funding from other shows including "Mystic Knights of Tyr Na Nog" just to keep running with a slightly higher production value, despite the Zordon arc being over and all power rangers' suits and monsters alike disappearing from the galaxy (to say nothing of "In Space" rangers showing up again later in "Lost Galaxy" for reasons).

It's not. Like nowhere near close. It's MB's Transformers bad which, while bad, still manages to make tons of money -- almost $500m, 4x its budget -- whereas DBE didn't even turn a Hollywood profit (ie, double its budget)

Granted, DBE *is* entertaining in its own way. Sure, it's not as hilarious as Street Fighter, but it has so many WTF decisions making it great.

I remember Space actually being pretty good from what I saw of it. I had checked out after Turbo, though, with its fucking little kid ranger.

I also tried watching Samurai, which was kinda amusing.
