Are you going to be affected by Hurricane Irma in any way?

Me personally I will be affected by the rain and under a Wind Advisory but im in NE South Carolina.

No idea. Not 100% sure what direction the storm will take and I know people down in Florida. Plus it's possible that the damage in the Caribbean will cancel friends' trips down there, so I'd see them around the week they were supposed to be gone.

I'm in Brevard FL, which is on the central-east part of Florida, and technically not in the track for Irma, but the gusts are still like cat 1 strength.
I'm not crazy, one of the voices in my head is a psychiatrist, and he says I'm fine.

If you're in Florida you're affected just because the eye doesn't pass over you. This thing is engulfing the whole state.

I live in MT, so no; not really. Not unless the northward storms from Irma create an air buffer that pushes away storms that may come in from the southwest.

my area is prone to flooding during hurricanes. mostly roads though and not peoples homes being flooded out. road I live on will likely be a nightmare for awhile (dirt road)

they might be an issue in surrounding areas and states (Delaware, new jersey, new York coastline), but where I live has many hills, so flooding wouldn't be an issue. dealing with snow is a pita though >.<

I know. my brother used to love snow until he lived in PA for a year or so. now he hates it

My family in Broward County is currently affected, but I moved away three years ago. I'm checking in with them regularly and they're doing fine!

If you're going to ask if people are affected in any way essentially everyone is going to be affected to do some degree. Some people are just going to be affected subtly enough to the point they don't even realize it.

The eye of the hurricane reached the southern border of my county, but then the eye veered northwest before it could reach me. I had to hide in my closet for a few hours last night, but my house is fine and I somehow didn't lose power.
