did you like working in retail or fast food?
Neither, I work in a warehouse.
And as her clothes all tumbled 'round her, I could hear my heart
The moonlight shown upon her as she lay back in my bed
Used to work in retail (gas pump attendant). It was alright.

Worst job I probably had was washing cars for a car rental company.

Well, every day you're treated to either someone so dumb that you wonder how they manage to function in day to day life, or you meet someone so entitled and miserable to deal with that you start debating if hitting them is worth losing your job.

The gas station I worked at had a touchless carwash where you put your car in neutral and the track would pull you through. Every once in a while someone would jerk their wheel or hit the gas and end up jumping the track and getting stuck. The amusing part? It was always people who were well off that did this. Every time a car jumped the track, it was a $70k+ Mercedes, or BMW, or some other luxury vehicle.

i kinda agree with you, so stupid you wonder how they manage or so entitled and bitchy you want to hit them. So you don't think all that highly of your average american? Do you think most people are good people? Intelligent people?
Nah, most people are good people. It's human nature to remember the bad ones.

You may go home thinking about these two jerks that made your day at work miserable, but you gloss over the other 600 people you dealt with that day that were pleasant enough (and therefore completely forgettable).
