My company still uses Windows 7 for work, but at home all of my computers are Windows 10.

I recently bought a Macbook Pro to fool around with, I should be getting it tomorrow.
I am a senior software engineer. If you see me post here, I am tired of writing TPS reports.

In this topic, only Windows operating systems exist.

I'm running Windows 10 on my machine at home. My phone runs Samsung's version of Android 7.0. I've run Kali Linux and Fedora Linux for several of my classes.

I have Windows 10 on my desktop, but Windows 7 on my laptop. The laptop is actually a netbook, and can't handle anything after Windows 7.

None of the above. I had a partition with Windows 8.1, which I only had so I could play through the Dark Souls series again, but that partition has been formatted and contains all my downloaded porn now.

my first ever computer that I used, my grandfather actually made his own operating system for.(wanna say the computer was a Tandy 2000) otherwise it would have just been DOS or whatever its called. he didn't do a bad job either, though it was quite simplistic, it was literally just a list of all the programs on blank background.

It kind of does. The success or failure of Windows 10 is going to help determine what I'll be doing in about ten years or so. And Microsoft getting away with the bullshit it pulled is a black mark on a legal system that's already riddled with them. At the very least, their ass needs to get slapped with a genericized trademark label.

Windows is the most user friendly, and the OS that gets the most support from game developers by far. It's pretty much the best OS as far as your average joe is concerned. Linux of course has more functionality (from what I hear), but it's not nearly as user friendly, and has barely any game support. Same with Mac. Other operating systems are so niche that they're not worth mentioning.

No. I had Vista before the thunderstorm... Now I'm stuck on my "backup" computer, which has XP, and it's been causing me problems with websites... but not on Instagram. All sites work fine on Vista, last I checked (which was July).

windows 10 rules in this topic. Does that mean windows 7 is going downhill? win7 is going to be just like winxp which was the dominant operating system before win7 and abandoned after win7. Windows7 will be forgotten someday in the future just like winXP, so guys, upgrade your OS to win10 as soon as possible is what i recommend even though i still use winXP personally

Windows 10, unfortunately.

I've always used windows, but MS is trying real hard to force me to learn how to use a Linux OS. Forced updates that delete all my system restore points and re-disable it no matter how many times I've enabled it is just despicable.
And now my current build's at the end of support and it keeps trying to force me to a newer version that royally fucks up my sound until I roll back to this build, which I'm not sure I'll even be able to keep doing. A computer without working sound may as well be a fucking paper weight.
