Poetry is more of a writing style. To say you don't like poems would be like saying you don't like novels.

Maybe you don't like any poem regardless of genre.

I like fantasy and scifi poetry. Look up Dead Man's Hate by Robert E. Howard. That's one of my favorites and you can find it online for free.

I do not like poetry, of any sort. I can't even really explain why. I just do not like it.

Depends on the poem, but I find most poetry far more tedious than prose.
