This 32 y/o Dad is Dead after Teens threw TWENTY ROCKS down an OVERPASS!!!

32 y/o Kenneth Andrew White was killed after a massive rock smashed through his windshield and hit his head in Michigan!!

His fianee, Amy Cagle was devastated as she said "He was a good man and a good father". She tearfully soke about their 5 y/o son she had with him and said it was a senseless act for a rock to had take him so soon..

He was on his way home from a construction job when rocks started falling from the overpass and he was a passenger of a van that was travelling on Interstate 75.

20 rocks had already been thrown down before the 2 men made their way down the highway, hitting 4 cars that pulled over and alerted law enforcement..

His sister, Alicia said "I just don't understand what a person could be thinking to even want to do something like that. To know they're putting lives in danger by just throwing rocks over the overpass"

It was believed to have been Teenagers according to the County Sheriff's office who said a large rock struck the father of 4 in the head when it came crashing through the windshield. He was immediately knocked unconscous and was rushed to the Hurley Medical Centre where later died.

It happened at 830pm at night as photos show the gaping hole in the windshield and the massive rocks that were thrown down below..

Jim Schultz shared photos of his vehicle on facebook, along with the rock that he hit while driving. He said it ripped off his oil pan an described it as a 10 by 10 rock, smaller than a basketball.

Several teens who were connected to the incident are in custody as they said it was part of a "prank" and this is now being treated as a potential homicide.

I'd love to see them charged with murder 2, but technically this would fall under involuntary manslaughter because the death was unintentional. Granted, their callous disregard for safety and knowledge of the potential dangers could bump it up.

Manslaughter would make most sense, as it seems like a situation they were doing it as a parnk they thought was harmless

Not necessarily. We had a similar story in Ohio, where a priest was nearly killed by someone doing the same thing. The only reason the kid was even punished at all was because he was earlier heard saying he wanted to kill someone.

They can't be stupid enough to not realise it can kill someone, more like they wanted to intimidate other people and see them suffer and stupid enough to think others won't be killed.

This has happened before with a woman in a car with her family and there's actually video footage of the incident. It's really sad.

Anyway, teenagers know throwing giant rocks from 80 feet or more in the air onto moving vehicles can seriously hurt or kill someone. I doubt it was intentional to kill someone but that's a consequence of what they did. They definitely deserve at least a manslaughter charge and hopefully they can be rehabilitated in juvenile detention depending on their ages.

I don't even think something like this is a sign of bad parenting either. This is just shitty teens doing something shitty like teens do and not thinking of the bigger picture. Sadly this time they ruined an entire family and took a father from four children.

I've heard of a couple of these stories and it does make me paranoid driving under an overpass if I see people standing on it.

Nah, that's bad parenting. Teens can be stupid, yes, but even stupid teens with good parents understand basic cause and effect and that you shouldn't do things that present an immediate risk to the lives of others. A parent that hasn't managed to teach their kid that by the time they can even pick up a rock like this has failed as a parent.
