jackie chan, no contest.
he broke his ankle doing this stunt, designed special shoes so you couldn't tell and filmed the rest of the movie.

Jackie Chan is an excellent stunt man but I have to give Tom Cruise credit for giving so much effort to his roles. Both actors put up great performances.

Tom Cruise is easily the better actor and Chan is easily the better stuntman

And thats not a knock on either one. Chan is a great actor and Cruise is a great stuntman

Jackie Chan is a terrible actor, but a great stuntman. Tom Cruise might do some of his own stunts, etc, but he doesn't do nearly as much and it's often not as impressive.
