This 15 y/o MARCHING BAND Girl was SHOT in the EYE during a HUNTING Trip!!!

15 y/o Alyssa Scott from Oak Grove, Alabama is Dead after a HUNTING accident when she went out hunting with an "adult family friend" who had been on a youth hunt with her when a gun accidentally discharged and shot her right in the FACE!!

They were hoping to kill a huge buck that day as she shared a picture of herself in hunting gear..which would be the last photo of her alive on that trip in the woods

Police said she climbed down a tree stand whiel they prepared to leave at 5pm and the friend passed her a rifle when the gun suddenly fired and hit her directly in her EYE!!

She was killed instantly and police say it was a tragic "accident"

She was a Sophomore at Oak Grove High School and is a member of the school's marching band and drum line

Tragic, but not sure what the marching band was all that relevant. It's not like the band was marching through the woods and got mistaken for a Jabberwocky by a hunter.

I love how many "accidents" happen in the US that can't feasibly happen.

This is exactly the point of a trigger guard and a heavy trigger, so you can't accidentally yourself in the face without being grossly negligent.
