If you've been looking for shoes, you can tell that these shoes are always labeled in categories ranging from athletic, walking, tennis and running shoes...but honestly, a lot of these shoes all look the same to me..so if you can tell the difference between a TENNIS and a RUNNING shoe is between 2 pictures, colour me shocked!!.

There's a gap in the bottom of Shoe #1 to separate the two main parts meant to cushion the feet while running.

While the bottom of Shoe #2 has ridges to maximize traction which you don't need as much when running.

Clearly these have a noticeable difference and as already said 1 is shoes for running while 2 is for tennis.

You have to look at the bottom (sole) of the shoe.
Easy. Running shoe is a shoe and Tennis is a sport.
