Just what we need, a bunch of down syndrome babies in the foster care system that Republicans will do everything in their power to avoid paying for.
Apparently, on the opposite spectrum, Iceland has nearly eliminated Down Syndrome in their country.

Edit: Dammit, Jen. You beat me to it.
Do you think women should be allowed to have an abortion if their unborn child has down syndrome?

Seriously. I read a bunch of articles about how Down Syndrome is essentially eradicated in Iceland because pretty much every woman that gets tested with a Down Syndrome positive result gets an abortion.

Yeah, Hitler had a good method for eradicating Jews too.

Jewish people aren't mentally handicapped or physically disabled to the point of total assistance simply because they're Jewish. This comparison is so off base and offensive.
That's your opinion. Just because Donald Trump has banned the word "fetus" from the CDC doesn't change the fact that a fetus is not a baby and most abortions take place in early pregnancy.
Metal_Mario probably sympathizes with fetuses because they have about the same IQ.

I sympathize with fetuses because they can't defend themselves against people who murder them and then sell off their pieces.

I see "Choose life" signs everywhere. Pretty damn misleading, choosing life would be pro-choice.

The better solution isn't banning abortion of Down Syndrome babies, but to help parents raise such children. Help change society so that people with Down Syndrome aren't seen as burdens, so that parents wouldn't want to abort for that reason. Banning abortion doesn't fix the root of that problem.

"Pro-choice" is a misnomer. You'd think by looking at it that it means you have the ability to make your own choice, but it means only that you're making one choice that's in line with typical Conservative thought.
Sounds unconstitutional to me.

If so, or not, then this would be a matter of 9th vs 10th Amendments, I believe.

Uhh... Let me rephrase this now that I'm fully awake and not suffering from a massive headache.
"Pro-choice" and "Pro-life" are both poor terms. The latter is the misnomer I explained in my original post, whereas the former is believed by Conservatives to mean "Totally getting an abortion when I have the chance," not to mention that the Supreme Court case everyone likes to point toward mainly actually said that abortions should be an option to those whose health is at risk.
What you need to look at, and I forget the name of THIS case, is the one that defined Health as also involving social and spiritual well-being in addition to physical, mental, and emotional health.
