Have you ever played hooky from work/school?

I played hooky from school (had a stupid parent who couldn't tell if I was lying and let me stay home). Only did it 5 times in a year(once because there was a stupid event I didn't want to do and the other 4 times because I wanted a day off). I have yet to do the same for work though.

So is this poll like a test to see who would lie on a poll that doesn't matter? It's hard to imagine many people can honestly answer no, that they've never played hooky even a single time in their life.
Who's your favorite character from "Bend It Like Beckham"? And you can't say Beckham.

I realized in my school you basically had the option to trade going to an hour-long class for a half-hour detention where you could do the homework you had to do anyway.

Got me just as far in life as my sister who literally broke out in hives when she got a B+.

Now I'm in college where there are penalties for being lazy, so I'm not.

Yes, when I was in high school, they would call with an automated message when you missed a class so i had my older brothers gf call in and say her number was our new number so basically I skipped whenever, usually went to class but like 1-2 times a week I would fuck off with friends.

My friends and I skipped school as seniors so many times, we weren't even sure we were going to graduate... Other than that year and once in 11th grade, I didn't skip unless my parent allowed it. Haha. Because I kinda couldn't...
