Black Athlete is FURIOUS that a White Girl is holding TeamUSA Flag and NOT HIM!

Speedskater Shani Davis, an American on the United States Winter Olympic team has caused outrage and started a RACE WAR that has overshadowed the team in South Korea.

He is just one of few black athletes on Team USA who said HE shoud have been chosen to carry the american flag during the Parade of Nations but instead lost a coin toss to luger, Erin Hamlin, a White Girl, after a vote among sports federations ended in a tie between them and did a "coin toss" to break the tie

TeamUSA has been long criticized for its lack of diversity but the tam is sending the highest number of US minority athletes yet to the Winter Olympics. It has 11 asians and 10 black athletes among 243.

The ratio is lower than the number of minority athletes the team sends to the Summer Games as the team had made efforts to promote diversity. A 2012 committee was formed to promote diversity

But Davis, in a FURIOUS tweet who won 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals blasted ERIN who only has a bronze in luge and said "I am an American and when i won the 1000m in 2012 i became the first American to 2-peat in the event."

Then he slammed Team USA for "dishonourably" tossing a coin to decide who would hold the flag between them and said "No problem, i can wait until 2022. #BlackHistoryMonth2018"

This sparked fury with multiple users as they said "Did you just make this about race?"

He will be 39 in the next olympics in China and Erin will be 31 who said this will be her last olympics. She said "Winning a medal is the effort you put in and the time and the work and sacrifice to succeed and achieve something. That's all on me. That's something i've done"

Hours later, Erin was just beaming over the news as she described how her parents spend MILLIONS on her career and love seeing her compete...her teammates were also thrilled and what it means for the sport of luge.

Davis was the FIRST African Amerian to win an individual gold medal at the winter games in 2006. When asked why he did not participate in the team pursuit in Turin, he stormed out of the news conference..

he is being a baby. give the flag to one of the asians. I don't think an asian has ever held the flag. pretty sure black people have done it already in the past. he lost the coin toss. get over it. this wasn't about his race. and he doesn't deserve anything.

Apparently he skipped the opening ceremonies. His attitude is so unbecoming of an Olympic athlete. If it were up to me, he would be stripped of his medals, sent straight home, and permanently banned from the US olympic team.

The difference is America is the only country that will get criticized for not having diversity but the reality is that black people just arent big into winter games period. Also, diversity really just means "not enough black people."
