Definitely. In New Leaf, he would only sell 1 authentic artwork per visit. Need to figure out how it'll work this time around, especially with the inspection system.

How hard is the lucky cat statue recipe to find?

I got the gold one's recipe, but haven't found the normal recipe lol.

@ChaosAzeroth it doesnt come from a recipe. Its a gulliver item. Thats where I got from, anyway.

Weird, I swear I saw someone talking about trading the recipe. Tbf they could have been talking about the item, since they weren't 100% clear.

That's a bummer. I need another for that recipe. I already told my kitten it reminded me of her. Would feel kinda bad to plate that one in gold now.

I got some questions for the people that have been playing for a while

When does the museum guy move in? Does it take 1 day like my house, or will it take longer?(I'm sick of cluttering my island with my caught bugs and fishes...D:)

Edit:

Also, my island has apples and Nook gave me some oranges. Once I get my shovel, can I plant these oranges and get orange trees? Also, how/when do I get my first shovel?

OMG, more questions keep popping up as I type my questions. I've seen a few presents on balloons on my island. How do I get them?

Get the slingshot recipe from the little Nook selling items in the Resident tent. You can also buy a full slingshot from him.

Flick showed up today, and as of this afternoon Turnip Prophet says I've got a 95% chance of a large spike (5% small) tomorrow afternoon, dispelling my fears of having a decreasing pattern. I'll start trying to farm some tarantulas at 7 to get me some of those sweet, sweet 12,000 sell prices, and between that and turnips tomorrow I'm liking where my finances are going.

Also the tailor just opened today and I like this approach to selling clothes. It could stand to be a little more convenient to buy multiple variants of the stuff in the fitting room, but this is way better than trying on pieces individually.
