I might be able to help if you don't mind me PMing you. I can show you part of what saved me but it has to be in PM.That's fine with me.
I think it's more likely that I'm some form of asexual. I'm not ruling out being bi, but I've never been sexually attracted to anyone, man or woman. I have developed crushes on people after getting to know them, which I think is demisexual, but even then it was just wanting to spend more time with them and enjoying their company and such. Idk... I've just never actually felt that kind of attraction to anyone.
It does bother me to still be a virgin, but it's less about sex and more about being unwanted. About not being able to attract anyone myself. I'm lonely and want a family, or at least to experience something with someone I care for and they care about me. But that seems impossible.
I've been doing much less of that than I used to. But I'm feeling really depressed lately, and I was dumb enough to click this topic out of curiosity. I've actually been significantly better in recent years, still not good, but not drowning in self hate and pity like before. I'm just indulging those feelings for a bit here since it seems relevant at the moment.
There's a picture of me in the topic asking to post a pic of yourself. It's over a year old but it's the most recent pic I have.

I probably shouldn't even respond to this but I am a virgin who is 39 years old and have a girlfriend but because of both of us being Christians, we aren't going to have sex til we get married and we won't get married til the year after next. She doesn't want to have kids so I need to get a vasectomy. But it won't be til at least next spring or summer since the local doctor in my town who does it is so backed up she won't be able to see me for an inquiry about it til the middle of this coming January. That was probably too personal.

Day 5
Urge - 2/5
Baked a cake to try and keep my mind off yanno, will probably tidy up, fold laundry, pick up my wife's car from the shop, make dinner and watch TV
And if it doesn't work out between y'all and you decide you want kids a couple years later?Well, if that happens, we'll deal with it. Also, are you saying that Visectomies don't work? Also my fiance is 22 years old.

Vasectomy reversal is a thing, albeit a relatively pricey one and not necessarily the most reliable.Histerectomes cost more but if a doctor says that's what we have to do to insure we don't have kids we will.. She does plan to do birth control but I am not so sure they'll work. I had a woman I know say she used birth control pills and still got prenant. I think there's a lot of misinformaion on all sides.

HELL YEAI admit, it's only because she has more in common with me than any other woman my age who tend to be nonbelievers.

You should stop judging tbh
Hysterectomies for birth control purposes are extremely radical and very unlikely to be recommended, unless it's a case where the woman is almost guaranteed to die if she does get pregnant. Removing the uterus has all sorts of messy hormonal side effects, especially pre-menopause.It's not like that. She has a job and I have a job. Though typically she doesn't work as much as me. I usually work 40 hours a week and she varies from like 20 or so hours to 40 hours. We both work for the same grocery store chain but hers is in another town. She lives near my town but the store she works at is farther away in the next town about 25 miles away while my store is about 5 miles from her home. I am hoping she can transfer there as like me she can't safely drive a car and her parents who she lives with have to drive her to work everyday.
If you're thinking of tubal ligation/tubectomy, that's more common, but that just involves severing/removing the fallopian tubes, not removing the whole uterus.
No form of birth control is 100% effective (except possibly a hysterectomy, but again, those aren't typically used just for birth control). It's not terribly difficult to find efficacy stats, but vasectomies are 99.9% effective, which is as high as they get (hormonal IUDs are a close second). That's interpreted to mean that for every 1000 couples having an average amount of sex while using a vasectomy as their only form of birth control, you can expect an average of 1 to get pregnant each year.
In practice, if you're using higher-efficacy birth control properly, you probably won't end up having to deal with a pregnancy. The possibility will always remain, though, and you should always discuss with your partner how you want to handle that if it does happen.
22-year-old who's devoutly religious enough to wait for marriage before having sex, but also 100% definitely never wants kids, ending up with a 39-year-old dude who's similarly religious?
Out of curiosity, does she come from an insular, highly religious community with somewhat "traditional" ideas regarding a woman's place in the household, and are her parents glad that she's found somebody suitably religious enough to meet their approval despite being from outside of that community?
Why do this to yourself?
It's only been 5 days
I go back to work on Friday for another 4 days then that's a of the month gone
the local doctor in my town who does it is so backed upYou may be more backed up than that doc.
I don't get the NNN thing. Total abstinence is bad for your prostate. It increases the risk of cancer.
