spend the winter living on the city streets or city jail?

the winter is cold and harsh. you'll have to spend your days begging for money and fighting to stay warm. however, you still have your freedom and no criminal record.

the jailers are abusive and your jail mates are very rude and abrasive. however, you'll be fed every day and given work and exercise.

Jail no questions asked. Homeless people intentionally get arrested in the winter to stay out of the elements. Anyone who votes homeless has never had to be out in the cold without proper warm clothing for long periods of time before.

Homeless. I'd rather fight to stay warm than to fight to stay not-raped.

there's a homeless community near my that has "tiny houses" that homeless people can move into provided they provide service hours

can i live in one of those in this scenario
