The French electorate are traditionally much better educated than the Trump deplorables. They will vote in the spirit of the French Revolution (Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité) and repudiate the misanthropic, stupid supremacists, from whom Marine Le Pen is a prime example.

Commenting on Le Pen's appearance is very unnecessary when there are so many legitimate concerns with her and Front National in general. Language like that only cheapen the political climate and take focus from actual debate.

I guess the one positive thing with Trump winning, from my perspective, is that the political language in my own country actually seem to have improved. The various party leaders say they don't want a Trumpization of our political debates and commentary.
Which includes less demonizing of opponents and more actual political reasons why they disagree.
