I can only speak for myself, but it's really pretty irrational to drink if you ask me. There's nothing wrong with having a drink or two but drunkenness is sin, and it's pretty easy to lose track of these kinds of things. Plenty of people manage it well (or at least have so far) but they're more confident in themselves than I am, I guess.
