Two things.

no.

the show is about (mostly) privileged black students in a mostly white institution, looking for causes to champion, as young people usually do.

most of their grievances are legitimate, but they sometimes go about addressing them in extreme ways that don't help their cause.

the show usually does a good job of showing two sides of an argument, IMO, without necessarily leaning towards one was as right.

and the black characters don't always look good, or the white ones bad.

No but I hate the name and it can get pretty preachy. The name implies that it's an attack on white people though and it really isn't

I haven't checked the wiki article but I've read a lot of stuff claiming it explores race and other topics at least somewhat thoughtfully.

That's the problem though. People don't want to think, they just want to react. The title of the show is meant to prove that.
