People often fail to understand the introvert/extrovert dichotomy. Pretty much no one is wholly one or the other - it's a percentage thing. However, the crux of the issue is whether you feel energized or drained while being around groups of people. Of course, you have days when you just wanna chill by yourself, but are you literally 50/50 on "hang out days" and "chill days"? Probably not. I think most people fall one one side or the other.
Well, it shouldn't be a dichotomy, then. It should be a spectrum, but it's not. I don't think it is that people are misunderstanding it, it's that the concept is dumb.
I think it's less that the concept is dumb, and more that people today spend all day trying to convince others that they don't accurately fit any labels. Yes, we know, you're an individual on various different spectrums. We're ALL individuals on spectrums. It doesn't mean we can't identify our tendencies for the sake of a simple informal poll.
Also, while I'm fine with you saying none of the above described you all that accurately, the fact is I did give somewhat of a spectrum in the poll: Very extroverted, Somewhat extroverted, Somewhat introverted, Very introverted, and Extremely introverted.
