Yes. I read at least a chapter a day of something. Sometimes will knock off a book in a weekend or something.

I've only read through one book over the last ~15 years, so no.

It's not necessary in an age where we have the internet and video games. I know there are good reasons for preferring books over other forms of media, but it's just not for me.

No, the movie is always better.

(it triggers me when nerds chime in when talking about a movie and say 'the book was better'. Makes me want to beat them with a cinder block).

The movie is rarely better than the book. People who can't read say shit like "the movie was better than the book."

I just don't have the attention span for it, personally.

I also have a lot trouble remembering details from a given chapter if it's strictly text. Like, I can look at a textbook-style book or a graphic/visual novel and remember pretty much anything on the page, but if it's a straight up novel... nope.

I read a ton. The latest thing I read was an anthology of short stories written by Tibetan authors. Most of them were depressing. I have a massive backlog of books at all times.
