When the cashier asks if you want to donate, do you?

I personally do not, and I do not like the fact that they ask me about it. I do not feel pressured or anything, but just bothers me that they ask at checkout.

Same thing with people waiting at the entrance to the grocery store trying to get donations for things.
I don't think I've ever donated to one of those things.

Usually the first time. But not repeated shopping trips to that same place.

No I do not donate. The place I work does this crap all the time. Our most recent was Harvey

No. You guys realize they will start with the santa people soliciting change outside of every store, soon? They won't let you enter or exit without soliciting you. The Boy Scouts needs to be disbanded over this.

I go about once a month to Costco, so if they ask for $1 when I'm spending $150+ I say okay. Regular grocery store I only do self-checkout

lmao

Also, I hate when they ask "are you sure? It's for a good cause" after you deny them the first time
I did once.

I took the change and put it in a jar they had on the counter.

...turned out they weren't collecting for charity, they were selling the jars.

Yea shit like that really irk me. Especially when I see teenagers doing it to fund their trip to some place.

The only times I really donate are when it's like military veterans related and at places that ask if you want to round up to the nearest dollar (in that case, why the hell not).
