Word. As dads Terry Crews is definitely the superior tho. They pretty much made him the epitome of what a dad should be.

Malcolm in the Middle for me for sure. Everybody Hates Chris was funny too but I always got so frustrated at how consistently Chris seemed to end the episode on a low note or with bad atuff happening to him.

I feel like that must have happened in MitM as well but, at least going off my memory, I feel like Malcolm had a lot more happy endings.

Weird reasoning. I actually prefer the opposite since most the time in real life you get nothing resolved or you get shit on even more by the resolve lol.

Sad/Dramatic moments in sitcoms are fine and all but I hate consistently Chris just got dumped on at the end of the episode for one final "Everybody Hates Chris" moment. I mean, it was funny a lot of the time, but it also bugged me. It's kind of like how I felt about Catdog where they got beat up and had terrible things happen to them too often when they didn't deserve it. If they deserve it, fine, but if not... eh.

Everybody Hates Chris--

While the mother in the that show was no prize, the Mother is Malcolm in the middle just made it too hard for me like the show at all.

Yeah. That was his main bit. There was a few episodes where he played a bigger part. Im pretty sure he had morals they were just super hoodish morals.

I might have to go with Malcolm in the Middle, but Everybody Hates Chris was pretty damn good. It also was probably better consistently than MitM, but the high points of MitM were fucking hilarious

Everybody Hates Chris for me. My favorite episodes (In no particular order):

1. The one where Chris wants a leather jacket
2. The one about Rochelle's superstitions. It shows her throwing salt over her shoulder and Julius diving behind her with a bowl of popcorn to keep from wasting the salt
3. The one where Chris takes his dad's porno magazine to school

That show was so freaking good

Well, since I'm a well-behaved child, I'd probably get in less trouble with Lois as a mother than as Rochelle. We did get to see that Lois is pretty reactionary and was really nice to Dewey when he stopped being evil. She's only really that way because her kids are so terrible, lol. Remember the episode where Francis broke her and she completely flipped from coddling dotting mom to ruthless tyrant? Of course, IRL Lois would definitely be the more abusive and terrible mother, but she totally fit with how ridiculously misbehaved her kids (and Hal whenever she wasn't around) were. I wonder how they shows would go if the mothers swapped families... >_>

Reminded me of a conversation I was having with my family where we were trying to think of potentially funny wife or husband swaps in actual sitcoms. Swapping Lois and Rochelle into different families seemed to be our favorite, lol.
