18 y/o Egg Head, Garret Haile from Northern California was arrested after a video surfaced showing him THROWING a KITTEN into a LAKE!!

The shocking vide went viral and led to the arrest as it was taken over a year ago but poice say it finally surfaced this week and shared across hundreds of social media.

Nicole Pinherio who shared the video said "My heart, it just left my body. And i showed my mom, she burst into tears. She was like, i can't believe that this is the world now"

Police said the video helped identify him and located him at Patterson High School.

He was booked into jail on a felony animal cruelty charge but is expected to ace the charge as a minor

Whoever recorded the video could also face charges as the video shocked many.

Nicole said "When i was 17, i still knew what iw as doing. He knew what he was doing. Even if he was just joking around or just trying to put something on SC or whatever he was doing, it' sjust wrong regardless. Regardless if it's a year old or today, he still did it"

The person recording the video was heard saying "Welcome to badass, and this is Felipe the flying cat"

Haile was then smiling with gloves on as he holds the animal and pretends to caress it before hurling the kitten into the distance and into the water.

He has since been released to custody as it's unclear what his bail amount was

reminds me of a video I saw on 4chan of someone lighting a cat on fire. ever since I saw that, I have wished I could know who it was and hunt them down. i've never been so angry in my life over something I saw online.

This has always been the world. It's a lot less common now than it used to be. It just seems more common because of how easily information is spread.
