This is why I want to normalize gun ownership. A lot of people's experience with them is either they're used by tyrants or criminals.

yes. i don't understand why so many gun nuts bring this up though..."have you even held a gun!?!?"...why is that relevant? we know what guns are and we know what they do. This might be shocking to you but many liberals own guns too...you can own guns and still be in favor of stricter regulations on them. i own a car and i'm still in favor of traffic lights keeping the roads safer. I don't view it as a hindrance on my part.
