My folks are against 3rd parties and say they are a wasted vote and think we should just have a 2 party system. They are still sore over Hillary losing and blame third party candidates for "stealing her votes".

I don't regret voting 3rd party one bit

The whole "wasted vote" argument doesn't make much sense anyways, since one vote in a solidly red state wouldn't have changed anything anyways

I think wed be a LOT better off with viable third parties. Maybe then politics here wouldn't foster such an extreme us-vs-them mentality that is so toxic.

That's not the attitude to have. In no one's wildest dreams Trump would have won Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Those aren't even swing states.

Anything to dismantle the blatantly corrupt piles of shit we have as parties, or at least take them down a peg in terms of their power.
