What do you rank this years e3? Was it overall good, bad, meh or just horrible. Let's let CE know your opinion

To me it was meh, Nintendo was really the only good thing imo

A solid 4/10

Xbox had the strongest showing. Only thing I really care about from Nintendo was Metroid

Nintendo and some of Microsoft was the only good parts. Everything else was boring as fuck >_>
Better than I anticipated; there were more games that have my interest revealed during this E3 than most.

7/10

It was below average, and anyone who disagrees has never been to an E3 before. It was nothing like years passed. E3 used to be like going to Disneyland. Seeing the audience reactions to new games was amazing. Now we just get stupid 30 minute gameplay reveals. This years E3 hardly counts as an E3 and it really should have just been a one-day thing, not a four day one. There were a few cool games showed off but nothing exciting. The people saying it was "a great E3" need to shut their damn mouths because studios will see that people enjoyed it and stick to this shit formula for years to come.

Everybody said gameplay was what they wanted! Last year around this time we were complaining that Microsoft's showcase had no gameplay. Like, the Guardians stuff was excessive, but it was also the only game given anywhere near that level of focus throughout E3

Now that they've seen gameplay, they realize that they'd rather see gameplay of games they care about.
Capcom was the strongest.
Resident Evil: Resistance is best Resident Evil.
don't compare games to feces -- if you've an opinion worth mentioning, do so civilly
The E3 specific parts sound like they were handled poorly. Schedules saying stuff like 'Take Two' and 'Bandai Namco' being updated to 'Take Two: Diversity Panel' and 'Bandai Namco Presents: House of Ashes' right before the shows started. Barely seeing any interviews or deep dives compared to a usual year. Looks like they were responsible for the Capcom mess too.

But outside of that it's overall fine. Tons of interesting and great indies were revealed this year and they carried the show. Stuff like the Wholesome Direct is a lot of fun.

Some games look cool but not enough to make it anything but a meh year for the event.
