Is pretty damn great tbh. Not sure why some folks get mad at it. If it continues, I will enjoy being mistaken as a 20 year old at 40, lol.

I have a friend (petite Asian) who looked about 17 when she was 27. She hated it. Always carded at bars and clubs, always asked if she was travelling with a parent at the airport. She would get visibly upset when this would happen.

I look a lot younger than I actually am. Estrogen is a hell of a drug, it takes literal years off most girl's face. And my mom didn't start to wrinkle or show other signs of aging until her 50s. So I've got 20 years of looking younger than I am, at minimum.

I think I've officially left that phase in the last couple of years. I'm 38 but was still being mistaken as a teen until recently. Now everyone thinks I'm 20-25 instead.

A bunch of my coworkers were talking about me and another one spoke up and said "he's damn near 40, you don't need to treat him special." They admitted that they thought I was early or mid 20's at most.

Pre-covid people often thought I was pushing 20. I'm 35 now.

I grew my hair and a beard for the last couple of years and now people think I look older than I really am.

Agreed. When I first got my license, I was clean shaven in the ID photo. I got pulled over like 2 months later, and I had grown my beard and mustache in. The officer looked at my ID, then at me, and was like "wow this photo was a long time ago huh?"

the show, I highly recommend it. the first few episodes can be hard to get through until you get used to the way they talk but the rest is amazing. The dialogue actually becomes one of the best parts of the show.

episode 5 was when it really hooked me

I've often been mistaken for being younger ever since my senior year in high school. I still do nearly 20 years later. But aside from having gained a little weight, I pretty much still look the same as I did in high school. It must be genes, as my mother and sister look younger than their age as well.

Prior to mask wearing if I had a good size beard, I would not get carded for drinking. When I don't really have a beard, I would almost always get carded.

I mean it depends entirely on your age lol. when you're 25 you might not want people thinking you're 18 but when you're in your 30s it doesn't feel bad when people think you're early 20s
