... on embracing windows 11 or go through the process to downgrade to windows 10.

Alot of the tech gurus on YouTube I've listened to say embrace 11 as the laptop will run it better, but I'm so partial to windows 10, because... gaming.

What's the gallery say?

Everyone hates the latest OS until they get used to it.
Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple

Why would you ever bother downgrading knowing you have to upgrade eventually. Gaming is not a reason, whats your actual thought process
There is no reason to not use W 11, don't be that guy.

10 has no benefit for gaming over 11

So what I'm hearing is just "deal with it" and adjust to windows 11?

I think alot of it stems from me being resistant to the whole new OS. That amd all the bad things you hear about Windows 11

There's no adjustment to make. Things are different, but it's largely cosmetic in what you'll even notice.

The only issue I've personally encountered so far is Bully needing a patch to not crash, but win 10 users have that problem too.

Also I actually got a little excited when I saw that win 11 has tabs in file explorer, that was unironically something I didn't realize I needed before. Total game changer for me.

Its not a whole new OS, its a skin for maybe 30-40% of the OS
Then why am I hearing so much negativity against 11? Seems odd

I have a laptop that is 11 and a desktop that is 10. I haven't had any problems with 11 yet but I still prefer 10
Yeah, I'm thinking about getting a new PC sometime this year and as much as I like Win10, I know that I'll just have to deal with Win11 since that's what most PCs are offering now. (And will likely be the only choice before long.)

That's the joke.

New OS build in menial logic = moved the sofa over to the windowsill where it's brighter and more colorful and that's it.

Been using 11 for nearly a year and the only minor annoyance is sometimes taskbar icons going transparent from waking pc's sleep.

I've been using it for about a week. Only gripe so far is that you can't put the taskbar on the left of the screen rather than the bottom. Aside from that, no problems with it.

The only things that annoy me with W11 is that I know need to click another button to change the speaker and clicking another button to get to a right click setting I want to use.

It's mostly the same.
