I keep getting this weird screen when I turn on my laptop, but I'm not sure if it's a legit thing or some kind of virus.
It mentions updating to "Version 3.9.3.0".

Does anyone know what that's about? Should I actually go along with the update? I can't really find useful answers googling it.

Is it throwing you because it looks like a windows 95 program? Then it's probably real.

Who makes your laptop. Some company just had a major bios vulnerability exposed.
It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

Yeah, it looks low quality and old. That's what's making me suspicious.

Laptop BIOS do receive updates, yes.

They had a bios problem last year have you ever updated the bios before? If not you should do it right now.

Check HP's website for instructions. BIOS updating can be annoying at times.

keep it plugged in and make sure it's at least 80% charged before doing it in case it loses power on battery or plug
then run it
it's fine to run
