And this is even with Zuck's really stupid blunder of making Threads mobile-only.
Not only is Twitter suffering cause of this, I've also not joined Threads.
A double victory.
It will be pretty funny if a lot of young people migrate to Threads after bashing how being on Facebook is for old people.
Those same kids use instagram, though.
Yes!
Get fucked Musk, you deserve this!
I hope twitter dies, but also the numbers are inflated with threads because they're auto-creating accounts using existing instagram accounts.
I hope twitter dies, but also the numbers are inflated with threads because they're auto-creating accounts using existing instagram accounts.this and, while twitter dying is definitely a good thing, expanding Zuckerberg's reach on social media is also dangerous. But well guess that's where we're heading now

The numbers are falsely inflated. Threads accounts are tied to Instagram accounts.

The numbers are falsely inflated. Threads accounts are tied to Instagram accounts.Pretty sure that's not the case. It gave me the option to follow everyone I had on Instagram, but some definitely don't exist on threads yet.
The problem with Threads is that it's not good to use. Like, if I, as a baseball fan, wanted to see people posting about the home run derby right now, there's just no way to guarantee that. But I might see their posts pop up out of context sometime tomorrow. It seems like there are no search options other than to look up accounts, which is bizarre. I'm going to hold of on posting anything that isn't a direct reply since otherwise it's probably just going to be tossed out into the void with no way for people to discover it.

Again, I don't think so. You still have to download the app, and manually connect the account. They are not saying instagram accounts are threads accounts and I'm not sure why people keep parroting this talking pointCause they're strange Musk stans.

and zuck sucks but in the general tech billionaire kinda way. he isn't nearly as much of an unhinged loon that musk isWell being less shitty than Elon is a pretty low bar.
Twitter traffic is down while Musk is limiting how long youre allowed to stay on Twitter. That hasn't been happening in any real way in like a week. It was just Musk throwing shit at the wall to cover up the fact that the site was DDOSing itself

I knew what it was a cover for, didnt know it was officially resolved.Damage is done either way.
Musk refusing to pay what he owes to the people he fired:

Weird that you still get people defending him.
