I think what's notable is the ratio. It seems like the British have way more bad food than they do good food. While most other places it's the opposite.Most of the bad stuff you see is either what poor people eat, dishes from the 18th Century that no one eats any more, or weird regional novelty food (that stargazy pie with the fish heads).
