This game is a joke, this DLC is a joke, and Gamefreak is a joke.yes.
Not as big of a joke as the people that buy it
Jesus, I'm glad I haven't bought this DLC. In any other circumstance, this would have been a Day One for me, but S/V is such a dumpster fire that for the first time in this series, I intentionally took a "wait and see" approach.
Same here. I've regretted buying S/V (I should have learned my lesson after Sw/Sh and BD/SP but open world gameplay led to misguided hype) and I'm completely done buying Pokemon games until I see what they're actually like. This DLC not only didn't fix any of the substantial problems of the base game, it made some of them worse and introduced new problems on top of them. It's not worth the money, and it's not worth the headache.
You're a headache for bringing this drama here on CE. Go to the Pokemon boards if you wanna bitch with rest of them.

But at the same time, if S/V is a sign of how future games will be made on a technical sense, then I don't know if I want to keep supporting the games if that's the path they're going in.

uh oh the person mad at people with any standards whatsoever arrivedThere's no reason to take anything he says serious, he's completely fine with calling people scum and saying they're the reason gamefaqs is dying because they're criticize a shit tier dev.
i just borrowed the game and beat it and have 0 interest in ever touching it again. game is so lifeless. still annoyed TMs aren't reusable and they want you to farm to get items to make the ones you want. it's rather sad how far pokemon has fallen over the last decade or so.Yeah, I liked Sword/Shield's approach of having reusable TMs, and disposable TRs that were pretty easy to get. Though I would have preferred reusable TMs in their entirely; Gens 5-7 got this right.

Game was fun to run around in but I lost all motivation to touch it after I completed the Paldeadex. >_>

She. Don't make me get a mod for misgendering me.Lol at thinking that a worthless threat like that is gonna get you anywhere, it's more likely that you'll get yourself modded and then complain about that like you've done before. Btw, nothing about your name hints that you're a she and sigs are turned off.

probably more fixable than the performance issuesIt should be cause it's just a number that needs to be increased but it's still the company that takes a year to fix the no different forms in outbreaks bug.
I can see your signature just fine. You having them turned on isn't magically gonna change my settings.
damn, at this point I dunno if I can even be assed to buy it used from GStopI wouldn't recommend it. It was an extremely disappointing experience

I really don't like that people are critical of others for daring to enjoy a product in spite of its issues.

big discountOh ye, for sure. A sizeable discount is what I am aiming for if I ever do bother.
Game Freak should let Monolith Soft help them outmonolith soft has a team thats specific goal is helping nintendo with larger projects (the kyoto team)
monolith soft has a team thats specific goal is helping nintendo with larger projects (the kyoto team)You realize that because of how often Monolith helps put on other projects and their own game they might not have the man power to help right?
so yes if gamefreak was not stupid and just asked they could get the help of experts at crafting large worlds
Kinda sad that after 25+ years, it has gotten worse instead of better.
Gen 6 was good, but X/Y had tons of missed potential due to Gamefreak trying to handle too many other non-Pokemon projects at once and Z being cancelled as a result. OR/AS are also (IMO) really underrated and the last truly great mainline Pokemon games.yea i gave them a pass for gen 6 as it was there first 3D game they itnroduced a new mechanic ect
Gen 1-2 were good, still some problems but it's understandable because it was still a new franchise.
Gen 3-5 were great, where the franchise peaked. Platinum, HG/SS, and B2/W2 are the pinnacle of the Pokemon franchise.

Gen 7 was where things started going downhill, and it's only gotten worse with every game since. The Pokemon franchise will never ever be good again unless they either slow down the release schedule or Gamefreak hires a lot more people to work on the games. But I don't see either of those happening.
Yet you are familiar with me since you mentioned I called people scum.Me seeing a post isn't the same as me seeing all your posts but yes, I've seen you get modded on the boards while complaining about how others don't get modded for following the tos, that's it. You even complain about others not getting modded on ask the mods while acting like your rights as a user got violated.
That means you should know what I like to call myself - a succubus.
Were you not paying attention or just avoiding the facts?
So, you're just parroting what you heard online? What if he came to that conclusion himself?

And for the record, I agree with what he said. The series peaked with Gen 5, then the cracks started to form in Gen 6 and 7, and once they moved to home consoles, all hell broke loose.
That's not a cereal I'm familiar with. Is it not available in the US or something'?So you're not even going to engage the topic at hand because you don't like that people are criticizing a series you're obsessed with?

What are you, a female Duncan?
So, you're just parroting what you heard online?
I really wish I knew more about you - not what BS is spoon-fed to you.
I'll start with an icebreaker - what's your favorite cereal? Mine's Trix.
I'm a 31-year-old succubus who wants to talk about cereal.
Then go make another topic to talk about cereal.
You also haven't answered the question - what's your favorite cereal?
