There's too much ad saturation in this world already, they're toxic vampires that prey on our existing insecurities and actively create new ones. I do what I can to reduce that exposure for myself at least and it makes my life better. I'm not going to reward any company, government or entity for trying to insert more ads into our lives or asking us to pay for the privilege of avoiding them.
One of the more nefarious being things we considered cultural norms, but were influenced by ads in our parents' generation.
