For me it was the complete lack of likable characters and any semblance of emotion that brought it down. I didnt care about anyone or anything happening.Sounds about right for the YA genre. I usually dont go for that kind of schlock but maybe it happened to catch me in a good mood or something.
Some stuff looked cool though.
