Those aren't allowed in the US. A defendant has the right to actively participate in their defense and be present throughout the trial.

You guys know he's not going to get convicted right? The justice system is a joke to the rich and powerful; him dropping dead is the only way he'll be off the ballots (and even that's not guaranteed with how stupid things are).He just needs to be exposed as much as possible to keep undecided voters from deciding in his favor.
