Ive never heard a DJ make anything sound good, I went to a Duran Duran concert and they had a DJ before the show for some reason, the only person who was into that bullshit was the DJ, we were all literally screaming at him to stop

i mean its not my style, but it takes actual competency and understanding for them to do what they do, even if i dont personally care for it

to me its just noise mishmash but that doesnt make them morons. plus every dj i know also plays instruments

If the DJ is good, they can mix a lot of cool songs back to back. One of my favorite DJs is Madeon. His sets are always fantastic.

Every DJ I've ever met calls themselves a music producer, never a musician. I think that's a fair description of themselves even tho producer has become another muddied word.
