Your paper straws arent doing shit for the planet, bro.The great irony is that plastic straws in paper wrappers are entirely recyclable, but not paper straws in plastic wrappers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1_zb10euFoIt annoys me so much when people at my work toss plastic bottles into the trash can when there's a recycling bin directly next to it.
We're learning now that our food & water doesn't just have microplastics in it. It has nanoplastics that are too small to be caught by a filter.Damn ( -_-)

"Why won't you die?"
"Nanoplastics son."

Imagine if they made a plastic version of Magneto who killed people by pulling out the micro/nanoplastics in their blood through the skin. That's an awesome idea
At my last place of work, the clearly labeled "Recycling Only" green bins just had trash tossed into them. Even if they were correctly sorted, they'd just throw the recycling in the garbage anyway.Even if they were sorted properly and thrown away into the proper bins/dumpsters to be picked up, it's still likely getting retrieved by the garage people
It annoys me even more that the plastic bottles tossed in the recycling bin aren't actually recycled ( -_-)Yeah, just the presence of bins marked "recycling" gives the impression that recyclables put in there will be recycled, but that's often not the case because there's nothing forcing companies to recycle plastic instead of making new plastic and making new plastic is often cheaper.
