that constantly jack up their prices every year for no reason, arbitrarily stop carrying the shows you want to watch, and suffer a quality drop or just stop working altogether if the weather is bad, and it's also a monthly subscription instead of a one-time purchase
Definitely superior to having to stand up and put a DVD in a machine every now and then
