We all know the story. Game dropped, was a broken mess, people wrote it off and it existed quietly after. Then an anime series based on the setting comes out, does gangbusters and breathes new life to the franchise and tons of new people play it, luckily after patches so it was playable but like I said, people wrote it off before so no one really noticed, at least that's how it felt. Then the 2.0 update happens, along with the expansion, and finally it's a masterpiece. The rest as they say is history.

At least that's how the story played out to me, maybe it was different for others, I dunno. >_>

It does raise one question tho: Why did so many people watch Edgerunners? If a lot of people had no experience with Cyberpunk, what drew them to the show?

I honestly can't answer that myself, being an "after Edgerunners" babby myself. I watched because I just did. <_<

Before but the David jacket was in the game when I started playing. I was a little confused at why this was a whole quest for an ugly as fuck jacket.

havent played. kinda wanna, prolly wont. hate that it's not an RPG but the character creation looks great. i just cant stand using character creation to create a set character

also i literally just learned the anime existed

I didn't play it until the 2.1 patch. Never seen Edgerunners. Anime isn't my thing.

Played it before, on a good gaming PC. No issues.
Watched Edgerunners, the final song really hits differently ingame now.
If you're not smart enough to survive, you are basically just food for something smarter.

Unless the S2's hardware is equal to or greater than the PS5, it won't be released on it.

Yep. Played it at launch and loved it. I had to add a mod to change the car handling, but otherwise, I had zero issues playing Cyberpunk at launch. No bugs, just lots of fun. I even started a second playthrough where I messed around with an OP netrunner build (which has been nerfed).

Edit: And yeah, slim chance it comes to whatever Nintendo's next console ends up being. They couldn't even get Cyberpunk to run well on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Played it at launch on PC and had a blast, no issues with it. Still havent watched Edgerunners. I dont really have the attention span to watch new stuff; if I try, within a few minutes Im picking up a book to read.
