Now, I havent eaten at either place in years, but I found the food to be comparable but Longhorn was significantly more expensive. Glancing at their takeout menus now, Longhorn is still a bit more expensive, ($26 vs $21 for a 12oz strip) but you only get one side and a salad, whereas at TR you get two sides (which can include a side salad). So overall it just seems like a better deal to go to Texas Roadhouse, as long as you can deal with the bad country music blaring and the staff occasionally stopping to line dance for no reason.
