Netflix made a huge mistake

Yea I mean. I am sure more (fun) storylines could have came about. It got quite serious at times which of course I am down for at moments. It did seen like it ended abruptly though still got a full season to try and wrap up stuff.

I know it might be wrong, but I'm in love with Stacy's dong

Keep driving, keep driving
Girl dont turn that car around
Break your pattern of needing to fix other people
Just keep on driving away

Ugh, who do they write these songs for?

Dont go back to the restaurant, Princess Carolyn
Just keep driving away

Ugh God damnit

That scene will always be funny to me.
What are you waiting for? You're free.

This was very funny. I feel like they should have tried to work in a couple more:

I still miss the show.

That's kinda wild. I also feel like it deserves more credit. It's one of the best dramas as well as comedies.
How quaint.
I went back and finished it recently having realized I was one season short of the whole thing and as someone who generally watched it because theyre girlfriend at the time loved it, really enjoyed it for the most part.

I mean Greg Graffin covered/wrote a song about Time's Arrow. I am sure it's called the "Watchmaker's Dial." Speaking of looking old damn Greg Graffin really looks very old now.

Such a masterpiece of a show.
DI MOLTO!
I still need to finish, I watched like the first 2 or 3 eps of the final season. That episode when Diane goes to Vietnam and the American family thinks she's Vietnamese and she can't speak English properly had me losing my shit.
My metal band, Ivory King, has 2 songs out now - allmylinks.com/ivorykingtx (all of our links there so you can choose which one you'd prefer to use)
Overall, I have a positive view of the show, but it started to decline after the whole "Bojack's comeuppance" stuff started. I really do not think they pulled that arc off very well at all.
Sorry I got off track with the time bit, but I remember when BoJack was in a new show (not the show I reference in my personal quote) that one starts with "Hey bitches" lmao it felt like Bojack was pitiable in a way he shouldn't be though I know he was self conscious. Anyhow I don't want to type anymore about the series unless I just look up some thoughts and there will be spoilers (which I would put behind a tag).

Its Bojack tradition for the penultimate episode in every season to be the hardest gut punch of the season.

The ending gag of that episode is one of my favorites on any show ever.

Free Churro, another Bojack episode, has another all timer as a parting joke.

I haven't seen the underwater episode in awhile and it looked cool and had good music, but then sometimes they try to be too 'smart." One the whole episode is just BoJack doing an eulogy and they expect the one joke at the end to make it worth watching.

The eulogy itself makes the episode worth watching.

Uh what makes the Free Churro eulogy episode is Will Arnett's performance. Bojack reckoning with his mother's death, her final words to him, and how he clearly sees life like episodes of a sitcom. The episode wasn't really building to that joke. The joke was to bring us back from the depths of hopelessness his monologue brought the mood down to.

Oh was that the Free Churro one maybe I watched it with the wrong mindset but I only saw that one time (the Eulogy). I would watch the underwater one again for sure and maybe that one but I don't have Netflix anymore.

And they both happen to be non-standard episodes in their respective seasons for completely opposite reasons. One having no dialog (save for the end gag ) whatsoever, and the other where all it is is Bojack talking.

The only thing better than experiencing the underwater episode for the first time is watching someone else experience the underwater episode for the first time.

I was able to do that twice when I watched it for the 2nd time, which was my wife's first watch, and then again when my nephew watched it.

Absolute GOLD seeing their reaction to the last moment.
It takes zero effort to be a good person.

This exactly. Will Arnett was simply amazing in that episode.

The performance was solid, but I was eating lunch one day and was just like oh that's it. Well I'll never watch that again. I like downer moments but I also like when there is some variety.
