^tbh good customer service should be a priority to these stores over everything elsegood customer service isnt a priority because money is and whenever people receive bad customer service they always blame the individual instead of corporate. Just like you
Still, working at Walgreens or Target is better than earning nothing and doing nothing with your lifeThey could just work at some other minimum wage, low skill job. Just cause they're not working at Walgreens doesn't mean they're not working. It just means working at Walgreens sucks.

I've actually thought about working at target for my night time job. right now I'm working at a pizza place as my 2nd job and it kind of sucks
Working at walgreens or target is going nothing with your life unless youre on a management path or working for their head office. Better to go to university and live off welfare than work for a boomer who thinks less of you than the shit on his boot and pays you even less
TC should work at a Target and get his own tum-tums at a discount.
Different poster.
So get 2 jobs then, lazy bones.Hey now...
Do you want me to work there for you? How much would I be making? Are there benefits?
Probably because they would get paid like $8 an hour and have to deal with people like youGonna repeat this
I would if I could for the discountSounds like an excuse. Make the time and be part of the solution.
I already extremely busy in my main job. No time for anything else.
Its ridiculous how I had to wait almost 30 mins for someone to unlock the door so I can buy my Tumsnever heard of Turns
are there really no takers for the job?
Of course. People need to man up and work. They likely pay minimum wage which is better than nothing.

Im convinced TC is just trolling.
Short staffing is causing a lot of trouble for the country and it is an unnecessary step taken simply to maximize corporate profit. It is the opposite of creating jobs. It puts more work on the workers (for no pay raise) and gives the customers a worse experience because theres nobody to help them and everything is rushed

Which makes me wonder why I keep seeing "Help wanted" signs constantly if the upper crust corporations keep understaffing on purpose?
It's basically propaganda, to make people think that they want to hire people but just can't find anyone. Look up 'Ghost Jobs', it's an actual trend where companies will keep job postings up in order to maintain the appearance that they're trying to fill positions to assure their employees that they're trying to lessen their workload as well as provide plausible deniability for why their businesses are consistently understaffed.
Of course. People need to man up and work. They likely pay minimum wage which is better than nothing. You're really not selling it as a job worth having.

Why don't you work there then?
