That it does. Sometimes Lego follow the original submission closely and sometimes they change it.

does Hasbro get a cut?

BOOOO
I'm not paying $360 for such blurry LEGO bricks

SEXY SEXY!
I'm a sucker for anything Castle or Castle-adjacent, but that looks like a really small set for $360. Does D&D / Hasbro really have the clout for that kind of licensing markup?

generally they price higher for the big dragon figure
^I'm betting that's the fan-submitted Ideas model that the real set in the OP is based on.

Correct! The set with the green dragon is the fan submission.

If they're using the actual Dungeons & Dragons brand and/or creatures and concepts that are owned by Wizards of the Coast (e.g. the Beholder in the set), then not only is Hasbro getting a cut, they have to get a cut (or else have some other agreement in place for LEGO to use the IP, though a cut of the money is by far the most common agreement and for sure it's what's going on here), or else they have grounds to sue LEGO.
Looks cool af

Not for no 360 got damn dolla tho
Common sense says it may not taste good, but it'll make a turd.
It's cool, but it also looks like a lot of other lego sets.

A Dungeons & Dragons lego set should double as an area map if you wanted help laying out where everything is. That's too cluttered to use for that intent.
