While I do say fuck you to all these people...that is kind of hilarious and weird

I especially like the "why can't you draw a straight guy?!"

And I'm sitting here like what physical qualifiers would you actually apply to a "straight guy?"
Just because I have 99% of a heart doesn't mean it can't kill me. It's tried. Twice.
My body has a dongle and my heart doesn't care. The one thing we agree on.
They're still pissed off at Grok too.

Okay, the "border crisis" one takes the cake. Such a crisis that the party that claims to care about it are leaving a bill to gather dust and have had members recently flat say it's not so bad that they need a bill. All while screeching about it being a crisis.

And I guess pattern recognition is a liberal trait now. Would explain a lot.

AI troll game is on point
Conservatives are super enraged.

Qualifier unnecessary.
Calling out stupid or reckless decision-making is not "victim blaming."
It's like if Disney or Netflix made an AI.

Of all the things to be mad at AI about...

Being angry because black people exist

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

Angry conservatives vs. AI art is an easy case of 'let them fight' in my book.
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.
I also feel discriminated against.

They're retooling how they make people and vampires look human but werewolves are wolves so it makes sense why they can still do them.

I'm pretty sure it's just a biased AI saying werewolves aren't people which is really offensive tbqh.

They're dealing with an impossible problem and trying to solve it by piecemeal patching in special rules and exceptions whenever something pops up, but that's only going to make the entire system more brittle and inconsistent. Like, that image was probably produced because they put in some sort of rule that says that any prompt involving groups of people must be racially diverse, and since there's an infinite number of contexts under which that could be embarrassing it was only a matter of time until somebody found the one that highlights how dumb that approach was. Eventually, it'll result in a lawsuit and they're just going to have to take the whole system down.

But what should bother people isn't that some public facing AI tool is having problems. It's that these same companies are developing these same tools for backend systems that will eventually do things like approve loans and what you won't have is a million people generating memes using it to show off where it fails.

On the other hand maybe an ai that collects images of people and aggregates them just inherently believes humans are racially diverse, because they literally are

That's not really how these systems work though. Like, a prompt involving Nazis is presumably going to use media from Nazi Germany and not every picture of every person on the planet.

Edit: I'll also point out that for the system to be able to tell you users that is unable to generate from a certain prompt, they have to be doing some degree of preprocessing to identify words or phrases that they want to avoid. It's not like they're handing the generative AI a prompt and it's coming back with "I'm not comfortable doing that." There is very definitely a manual process in between the prompt submission and triggering the generative system.

Do they understand why the AI is performing this way? I bet they dont at all
