Fascists like Mike Johnson are true believers. They believe it is perfectly acceptable and not a sin at all to lie to their enemies in order to advance their gods agenda. Jesuss teachings are meant to restrict everyone else, not them. I saw way too much of this growing up in the rural Midwest.
