Oh of course. We shouldn't punish kids who act this way. How silly of me. It'd be crazy to make them feel better is expected of them.So if a child telling someone to shut the fuck up means their guardian should beat them, what do you think is appropriate to do to someone spewing conservative hate speech?
My masters is in developmental psychology. I work with children every day and have acted as a child behavioural consultant for a number of different schools. Ive also acted as a consultant regarding learning behaviours and attitudes towards learning for more than one government.
I feel like hes got to be trolling.

What is silly is that you think (or choose to think) that the only options are 'no punishment' and 'public beating'.
And that the only way to communicate 'better expectations' to a child is through violence and pain.
Certain actions require punitive measures. If you do not instill this in your children at an early age, then you can't even say you've raised them.
He's pretty far right. In one of the "right wingers want to turn the country into a theocracy" topics he went on about how he agrees that we need more god in schools and how god protected America in it's darkest times.
....now, that isn't to say it's still not all part of an overall gimmick.
If you teach children that problems can be solved by violence, that might makes right, and that they only need to listen to you as long as they fear you, youve certainly not done a good job of raising them.
You're goddamn right your child should fear acting out. If you don't put the fear of God in them from an early age you're gonna end up with the kid in this video. If you don't lead the kid, they're going to end up leading you.Nobody:
If you don't put the fear of God in them from an early age you're gonna end up with them being well adjusted rather than be fully indoctrinated into a hateful bigoted cultFTFY

It's kind of a sad video you just know that kid is imitating some fight his parents are probably having every day.We don't know this.

We don't know this.
when I was a kid, all of the cussing and violence I learned were either from friends or at school (or TV).
there's a chance he learned it from his parents or other family members, but there's also a good chance he didn't.
We don't know but chances are high he hears this from his parents or someone at home arguing. The way he says 'shut the fuck up' and 'no bitch' is like two people fighting. Shit just flowed together. No, you assume this. It's not a high chance at all.
@LeoRavus
No, you assume this. It's not a high chance at all.
Contrary to the fun belief children learn bad behavior from home and the parents, a child can easily learn bad behavior from other environments. Including but not limited to school itself.
There seems to be this massive misconception bad behavior is likely learned from home and can't be learned elsewhere. Or that children are computers that you can force boot a program.
The kid looks like he was 5. How many 5 year olds do you hear talking like that? I don't recall it even on the playground in elementary school, and if someone let it slip they got taddled on. He said that stuff in a communicative way like he hears it all the time. He didn't cuss just to cuss...he's been well versed in it for a long time.

A better way to raise a child is to teach them critical thinking skills and let them realize God doesnt exist on their own.And let them end up some Godless heathen? Yeah... no.

If your God thinks that hitting kids is not only okay, but necessary, hes a dickhead. Its actually very comforting that he doesnt exist.
You could use some God in your life. Proverbs 13:24 would be a good starting point for you:
whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.
If I saw a kid get 'whooped', I'd be worrying about a lot more than their bad language.
And I would have some very serious questions about the parents' 'feelings'.
Just report it for advocating for child abuse. TC's a fucking disturbed person. It wont go anywhere. The law draws a distinction between child abused and spankings.

Im very good without God in my life and Im confident that Ive had a more positive impact on the world than you have. You're living wrong if God isn't in your life. And... most certainly not haha.

The problem with people who have bleedin hearts is they make no distinction between abuse and common spanking.
You're living wrong if ignorance, hatred, and bigotry isn't in your life.FTFY again. Notice you keep making these weird typos, but don't worry I gotchu ;)
Having a belief in God doesnt make you a bad person. It doesnt make you a good one either. The same is true of a lack of belief in God.I have some bad news for you. That isn't what the Bible says.
Thats because they are both abuse.
You guys wouldn't have survived growing up the way I did

You guys wouldn't have survived growing up the way I didAnd you learned nothing from it.
I have some bad news for you. That isn't what the Bible says. Why would I care about that? Did you miss the part where I explicitly stated that I dont have the faith that you do?
Most certainly not.

My upbringing was plenty gruesome enough, thanks. Also, as others have pointed out, you havent actually grown up.
