Though they admit to shooting at them just a little bit. Who knows, they might have got lucky and hit a terrorist! (sarcasm).
I was told on good authority they were one of the most strictly trained & regulated militaries in the world. With a high focus on maintaining order & minimizing civilian casualties. It couldn't possibly be that that same supposed force got jumpy & twitchy & just open fired on unarmed civilians for like the 50th time could it??
