there have definitely been pushes before this to cut off funding to Israel. you're right that the majority of politicians vote in favor of it but things like BDS were around way before this. either way, the only thing to do is keep pushing in whatever way possible.

Anyway, it turns out that many people don't want to militarily engage when two sides are committing horrific war crimes against each other, and every other attempt at solving it has failed in the last 70 years, because then you get blamed when it doesn't work and also your own people get dead. With a high focus on maintaining order & minimizing civilian casualties. It couldn't possibly be that that same supposed force got jumpy & twitchy & just open fired on unarmed civilians for like the 50th time could it??
