You just want us to capitulate to a murderous dictator who has already said that after he wins in Ukraine he's going to attack NATO allies, meaning at that point we will be in WWlll. History shows us that appeasing dictators accomplish nothing but a brief pause in their warmongering. We even have an example with Putin in 2014 when the world let him take Crimea from Ukraine hoping it was satiate him, and here we are.

How would this even happen? They're not going to do it voluntarily and their invasion of Ukraine shows us that nobody would force them to do it because they'd be scared of a nuclear holocaust.

No, the more that certain countries are fighting each other, the more that China benefits.

China is a manufacturing-export nation. Their economy benefits when competing export countries do less manufacturing, so China will typically want to remain isolationist when it comes to things that they have no interests with. The more that the US, Russia, and Europe are all fighting each other, the less time and resources they are devoting towards making their manufacturing sectors competitive.

However, China will NOT be isolationist when it comes to their mining interests in Africa, or natural resources in SE Asia, and, of course Taiwan. When it comes to things, they are super invested.

Anyone who replaces Putin at this point will be just as bad if not worse.

Russia as an existence has been honestly an abject failure of an empire that has been braced up by and surrounded by corruption, and for a bare moment had a chance right after the Cold War ended. Putin has threatened to start a nuclear war so often and for the smallest of things that it's lost all meaning by now.

I say, fuck it, let's just rip the band-aid off and do it . There were several occasions during the Cold War where it was protocol to launch and cooler heads prevailed. If Putin gives the order, that will likely happen again. Nuclear launches have a chain of command for a reason.
