Me and my sister both call our biological dad "daddy"

Though that's mostly a habit of our mother getting divorced and remarrying, and the way we differentiated our dads was "daddy" and "dad" lol

In the Carribean, it's pretty common for kids to still call their parents "mommy" or "daddy" even when they become adults

I don't think its like, a red flag, but I personally find it pretty weird. "Dad" or "Mom" just sound like the only adult way to refer to them directly.

I only notice adults and kids over 5 using 'mommy' and 'daddy' in movies. I don't recall ever hearing someone in person call their parents that.
